CHRISTOPHER COYNE Chris is a veteran educator with more than 20 years of exemplary service. He has taught at the elementary and middle school levels at suburban as well as urban schools. Chris also has experience in school building leadership, having served as principal at the elementary level. Chris has worked with teachers in the country of Brunei as they implemented Singapore Math® and has visited schools, classrooms, and teachers in Singapore.

LAURA GIFFORD Laura Gifford has over 17 years of expertise working with children and teachers in the field of education, with a focus on mathematics instruction for the past 14. She began teaching the Math in Focus program in a Grade 1 class. Since then, she has been teaching lessons at multiple grade levels. Along with teaching, she facilitates planning with teachers, curriculum development, and the implementation of Math in Focus in multiple districts and schools across the United States and internationally. She has continued her professional development by participating in several workshops, including Math in Focus virtual study groups, Math in Focus Trainers’ Institutes, and “Singapore Math®: Beyond Basics” with Dr. Yeap Ban Har.
